Hope: What’s your Symbol?

Service and Worship Leader: Laura-Beth Falter

Humans use symbols to create shared understanding, form identities and build social structures. Our ability to communicate complex, abstract ideas through symbols has been a key to our success as a species. Symbols of hope express humanity’s resilient belief in a better future and our capacity to achieve it. In this service, we’ll explore some enduring representations of hope, including ancient, modern and uniquely Canadian symbols.
